YANNICK PEETERS TRIO
Double Bass player Yannick Peeters felt the need to create a new trio with Matthias De Waele on drums and Sam Comerford on saxophone, with which she wants to combine the rich jazz tradition with more contemporary adventures.
Only two melodies decide the harmonies, the drums give rhythmic support, each instrument takes the lead in its own way.
Exploration, tradition and modern sensibilities come together in a pure and authentic form of musical expression.
