⇾ Before a concert (for example to promote a concert) or independent of a concert. Organizing a masterclass before a concert offers the participants the option to put everything they’ve learned into practice and to experience the music in a new, more unsightful way!
Masterclasses can be presented in many different settings and can be taylored to the needs of your audience!
For Example: Stéphane Galland teaches participants unique methods to understand and replicate complex rhythms. Everyone leaves the masterclass with a deeper understanding of exotic rhythms, polyrhythms, and the ways in which rhythm is experienced. All masterclasses are interactive. Participants don’t need to bring their own instruments, as the ideas presented by Stéphane Galland are internalized through clapping, movement, and singing.
Participants without specific prior knowledge of music theory, but who are curious to gain a better understanding of how rhythm can be learned and felt in daily life, will learn more about unconventional rhythmic approaches and the many ways in which music can be experienced through rhythm using a few tips and tricks. For participants with more knowledge of music theory, Stéphane Galland delves deeper into approaching, practicing, and integrating polyrhythms, uneven time signatures, unusual beat subdivisions, grooves, and rhythmic “morphing”.
